Customers Responsibility: When purchasing a product from Vale Moto Ltd, it is your responsibility to read and understand the Terms and Conditions.
Description
Motorcycle Tours: All motorcycle tours are booked on a first come first service basis. When you book your motorcycle tour with us the following will apply; a Reservation Booking Form must be completed, the deposit paid and relevant documents submitted. No reservation will be confirmed until the Booking Form and deposit is received!
You will have the right to a 7 day cooling off period from the date of submission of your Reservation Booking Form.
Payments & Deposits
Deposits: are required per person and are NON REFUNDABLE (beyond the 7 day cooling off period). The required deposits are listed on the relevant Motorcycle Tour.
Payments: Vale Moto Ltd accepts Debit Card payments via WorldPay (Credit Card payments – add 2.5% surcharge), bank transfer or cash as method of payment for deposits and balances. Your tour will be charged in UKP £ pounds sterling. Additionally, you are responsible to pay any bank or transfer charges either by your bank or our bank.
Balance of Payments: Must be paid in FULL 8 weeks prior to the first day of arrival at your motorcycle tour (4 weeks for UK tours).
Failed Payments: Failure to receive successful payment at any stage may result in cancellation of your order tour.
Currency Fluctuations: In some circumstances, currency fluctuation can increase the cost of the published price of your tour. If significant, this will be added to your final invoice and you are liable for the increase. Failing to pay will result in the cancellation of your booking and no refund will be given at any time.
Cancellations
In the event of you having to cancel the following will apply.
Tour Changes
Arrangements for your tour are made months in advance. It is therefore inevitable that changes may occur. In most cases, these changes will be minor and will not affect your holiday. However, in the event of a major change or a tour being cancelled, we will advise you immediately and you may then (a) Continue the tour with the new itinerary, (b) accept an alternative of the same or similar value, or (c) cancel your holiday with a full refund of all monies paid, including deposit.
Disclosure
It is your obligation to disclose any medical conditions that may render you unable to travel or criminal convictions that may bar you entry to a particular country. Any non-disclosure (or false statement of such) of the relevant information will render the contract between you, the customer and Vale Moto Ltd, the Company (and its Directors), invalid. This may result in the termination of your trip with Vale Moto Ltd with the loss of any monies paid. Any claim for consequential losses will not be accepted.
Travel Details
Passports/Visas: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all members of their party are in possession of either a valid Passport or suitable travel document appropriate to country/countries being visited or transited during your trip with Vale Moto Ltd. If you or others in your party require visas for the country/countries you are visiting, you are reasonably expected to obtain the correct documentation before travelling. (Vale Moto Ltd will help you in the preparation of these documents where possible and practicable)
Full disclosure: You must disclose any criminal convictions which may affect your entry to any country through which the tour may take you. Non-disclosure or false information may result in the termination or cancellation of your trip with Vale Moto Ltd without a refund at any time.
Ferry Bookings: Brittany Ferries / PO Ferries / DFDS Ferries / Euro Tunnel. When booking your ferry travel with Vale Moto Ltd, you must abide by the Terms & Conditions as set out by the ferry companies. Once you book through Vale Moto Ltd, there will be NO REFUNDS for fares paid. Vale Moto Ltd are not responsible for any travel disruptions or cancellations. This falls under a clause called ‘Force Majeure’ or ‘Casus Fortuitus’
Motorcycle Tours Your Own Motorcycle Documentation
Motorcycle Tours / Driving Licence requirements: All riders must be in possession of a full and valid licence for the class of machine they are using for the country they are visiting. We advise you to obtain an International Driving Permit/Licence and this can be obtained from most major post offices.
Riding your own Motorcycle: We only accept motorcycles that are road legal, with registration plates, are insured and in good condition with a current MOT if applicable. Each participant is responsible for their motorcycle, for the care and use of it and for the conformity of it with the laws in force. In the case of mechanical breakdown whilst riding your own motorcycle, you are responsible for the recovery or repair of the motorcycle and for the repatriation of the machine, you and your pillion
Motorcycle Insurance: Each participant must be in possession of valid insurance for their vehicle, for themselves (and their pillion). This includes repatriation insurance for the vehicle and for rider and pillion where applicable. Any incident or accident that involves a participant (or their pillion) will not be accepted as the responsibility of Vale Moto Ltd (unless directly involved in the incident).
Leaving the Motorcycle Tour: If for any reason the participant (you the customer) chooses to leave or excludes themselves from a tour before the end of said tour, he or she will not be entitled to any refund or compensation. (e.g. asking for the money to be credited towards another event we host or hold)
Conduct
Inexcusable disruption: If a participant causes disruption by words or deed to a tour or other participant on that tour they may be asked to leave immediately without redress and will result in the termination of your trip with Vale Moto Ltd and the loss of all monies paid to them. NO claim for Consequential Loss will be accepted by Vale Moto Ltd or for other costs incurred in completion of the trip by the participant under this circumstance. No refund or compensation will be given (i.e. money – credit or towards another event or tour)
Insurance, Medical and Breakdown
We would like to advise you that on all of our tours, we require you to hold a valid and adequate Medical and Breakdown Recovery Insurance which includes repatriation for you and your pillion and your motorcycle (a copy of your insurance documents will be required)
Travel / Medical / Breakdown Insurance: You the customer, agrees to have suitable personal / medical / cancellation / travel / breakdown insurance in effect for the duration of your trip, which covers repatriation for you and the motorcycle you have submitted on your confirmation booking form. If you cancel or divert from any motorcycle event / tour before the end of your event or motorcycle tour date you are liable for your own claim against your own insurance, also in the event of illness, accident or death.
We suggest that you check that your insurance covers abandonment / cancellation / curtailment. Vale Moto Ltd is NOT Liable.
Vale Moto Ltd Responsibilities
We Are Responsible: For any part of the program booked by us, where it is within our control, to ensure that it meets the standards as described in the brochure or publicity.
We Are NOT Responsible: for some amenities being out of order due to service requirements – weather conditions – amenities such as parking space fees – extras such as food (beyond what is advertised), drink including alcoholic drinks – road toll fees – fuel – personal injury or illness or death caused by activities in which a participant engages that is illegal or irresponsible as a rider/pillion. All accommodation is on a B&B basis unless otherwise advertised.
Hotel Policies: Please also note that some hotels will require a government issued photo ID and a credit card or cash deposit at check-in for incidental charges on your room.
Returning from European Tours or Events
Once your holiday has commenced, you will be provided with a return ticket or booking reference in advance which will ensure that you can return to the UK in the event of insolvency of Vale Moto Ltd. This is in with accordance with the Package Travel Regulations 1992 (90/314/EEC)
Minimum Numbers for Motorcycle Tours or Race Events
All Motorcycle Tours and Race Events are subject to a minimum number of participants. Vale Moto Ltd will contact you at least 60 days before your departure date if there are insufficient numbers for the Motorcycle Tour or Race Event to take place. This is to ensure that Vale Moto Ltd can operate and make the trip commercially viable. In the event of the Motorcycle Tour or Race Event being cancelled, you will receive a full refund of all money that has been paid to Vale Moto Ltd.
Delays/Curtailment
Delays: We are not responsible for any terrorist acts or acts of God that may interrupt your stay or booking with us. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays to your journey in joining us. In the case of such a delay, you are responsible for providing your own meals, accommodation and other travel arrangements.
Complaints Procedure
To Resolve Complaints: where our representative is in attendance at an event, you should in the first instance, contact him/her at the time. If, however, you are not completely satisfied, you should write to us at Vale Moto Ltd, Bahaven, Sigingstone, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan CF717LP. This must be carried out within five days of the event date finishing and must be sent to us by recorded post. The complaint, wherever possible, will be dealt with within 28 days of its receipt.
Web Issues
Third party websites: Our website includes hyperlinks to other websites owned and operated by third parties. These links are not recommendations. We have no control over the contents of third party websites, and we accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
Ownership of the Vale Moto Ltd Web Site and its Contents: The Website Site ‘www.valemototours.co.uk’ is owned by Vale Moto Ltd. Unless otherwise indicated, all of the content featured or displayed on the website is protected. Vale Moto Ltd retain the right to publish on the www.valemototours.co.uk website and its Social Media pages, any material that has been supplied by the end user (customer). ‘Material’ includes but is not limited to, text, graphics, logo’s, data, photographic images, moving images, sound, illustrations and the selection and arrangement thereof. All elements of the website, including the website images, are protected by copyright of Vale Moto Ltd.
Privacy Policy: Our customer’s privacy is paramount. Vale Moto Ltd will never sell your details on to any 3rd parties. We will add your email address to our mailing list to keep you updated of new tour destinations, news and offers. You will also be added to the mailing list of our sister company, Vale Moto Training Ltd for biking news items, offers and ride outs. Should you wish to do so, unsubscribing from these mailing lists is simple.
Protection of Your Money
Protection of Your Money: We, Vale Moto Ltd hold all clients’ monies in an account which will remain untouched until after that event has been completed. This is to protect you the customer, so you know that your money is completely safe. Any refunds will be made after the event completion date.
Legal Agreement
Entire agreement: These terms and conditions, together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you the end user / customer and us Vale Moto Ltd in relation to your use of our website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.
Force Majeure: Vale Moto Ltd accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of loss or damage or charges or cancellation caused by circumstances outside our control. E.g. cancellation or delay in the start of the event due to war or threat of it, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or adverse weather conditions.
Debt Recovery: Any debt’s or money owed to Vale Moto Ltd by you for non payment of goods or services are handed over to our debt recover service to recover any money you owe, you will also be liable for the recovery charges imposed by our agency from the original action date.
